To meet the needs of the increasing number of elderly patients, one man developed an app connecting college students to seniors.
As baby boomers age, the demand for assistance in everyday tasks has outgrown the supply. In response, Andrew Parker developed the intergenerational “Papa” mobile application to bring college student together with seniors. This team of young and old is beneficial to both parties, where the seniors are assisting in getting to doctor visits while the college students are able to alleviate feelings of loneliness.
