After assessing measures of revenue growth, employee satisfaction and attention paid to “ESG” issues, Time magazine and Statista are hailing 750 companies as the best in the world.
ESG stands for environmental stewardship, social justice and conscientious corporate governance.
Time suggests the 750 are setting the proverbial bar for taking care of investors, workers and planet Earth.
The rankings show “just who dominates the world economic order, with fast-moving tech and business-services companies unseating the manufacturers and consumer-goods companies that once drove the global economy,” Time economic correspondent Alana Semuels explains. “The world’s best companies of 2023 can make things, like their forefathers did, while their employees, shareholders and the planet profit, too.”
In order of ranking, here are the companies that are based in the U.S. and involved with healthcare or health insurance.
