CVS Health makes two leadership appointments
CVS Health has announced David Joyner will rejoin the company as executive vice president and president of pharmacy services. In addition, Amy Bricker has been named executive vice president and chief product officer – consumer.
Joyner will rejoin CVS Health on Jan. 30, replacing Alan Lotvin, MD, who plans to retire in April. Joyner will lead the pharmacy services unit and become a member of the company’s executive leadership team, reporting to CEO Karen Lynch. He is a former CVS Health executive with more than 34 years of healthcare and pharmacy benefit management experience.
Bricker will join CVS Health in February in the newly created role. She will focus on consumer products and innovation and report to Lynch. Bricker has more than 20 years of experience and most recently served as president of Express Scripts.
Intricon names VP of global operations
Tim Deraney has been named vice president of global operations of Intricon, a micromedical device manufacturer.
Deraney steps into the role after Dennis Gosior, who is retiring after 41 years with the company. Deraney has expertise in contract manufacturing in global, multi-site management; change management; and supply chain, logistics and planning leadership. He is joining the company after serving in various leadership positions at Medtronic. He has 22 years of experience at Medtronic in engineering, manufacturing and process development, most recently serving as senior director of global contract manufacturing and OEM contract management.
“Tim’s leadership will be instrumental in meeting the dynamic and complex needs of customers in biosensors, electromagnetic sensors and navigation, and hearing health,” Scott Longval, president and CEO of Intricon, said in a statement. “He will orchestrate operations across our global footprint.”
